Question by Vess: My mum is a single mother of 11 children plus she has 5 foster kids. She is not very well off financially and her house is not that great. I want to get her something really really great to show my appreciation to her and something that is practical for her. Any ideas??? She is a wonderful woman!!!
Some people are so rude!! Thank god for the report abuse button!!!! Karma will strike! Thanks everyone else for the genuine answers!

Question by : My parents gave me shandies, wine etc when I was young. So did my grandparents and my siblings were given alcohol. My siblings have drinking problems and I am the only one in my family who doesn’t drink. When I asked my mother about it she said you have to give kids alcohol or they develop a mystery and fascination to it. I remember being four and given shandies. Do you know any parents who do this? I hate it to this day.

Question by Matt: I moved recently to a new place which is a retirement place for old people mostly and families. It is hard to socialise here and I tried going out on the weekend to check the area. Still, I didn’t manage to make anything since a month or so. Any ideas to find some new friends? It is quite boring and sometimes depressing. Thanks.
