Do many people see there baby by ultra sound at 6 weeks ?

A Parent asks, We had it confirmed today my wife is 6 weeks pregnant and we seen the little baby’s heart beating it was an awesome moment.

I had an ultrasound done at 6 weeks due to the fact I was in a car accident and they wanted to make sure all was ok. My little bundle of joy entered our world on 5-17-07, couldnt be happier. And I know what you mean, hearing the heart beat is the most wonderful music to a parents ears. Good luck and happy parenting~!!!
The baby would be wee tiny. If they gave you ultrasound pictures then they would have arrows pointing at it for you.
yeah, if you get an ultrasound that early you can most definitely see and hear the heartbeat. Many don’t get it that early though. i’m having my first tomorrow and i’m 19 weeks pregnant
Ohhh congradulations. I didnt get my first ultrasound until i was 11 weeks (thought I was 12 at the time but turned out I was 11). Then another scan at 20 weeks. The 20 week scan is really cool!

I also had an ultrasound at 6 weeks due to a serious car accident. We could see baby’s heartbeat but couldn’t hear it yet. It was indeed, very cool! My sweet girl is now 8 weeks old.
At 6 wks that is all you will be able to see, usually by a vaginal ultrasound. It wont be till much later that you will actually see the fetus. I seen both of my boys at 6 wks by the heartbeat. And I agree with you, it is a very awesome moment. Just being able to see the heart beating is enough to know that your baby is alive and developing.

I did, when I was pregnant with my daughter I had a ultrasound at 6 wks 2dys pregnant. I saw her (she looked like a little bean) and I got to see/hear her heartbeat
