Q&A: Why is the divorce rate so high?

8 February 2012 2 Responses

Question by KD: Like 60% of marriages end up in divorce. Why do you think that is? In my opinion i think sex has something to do with it…I mean if couples have sex before getting married and they make it a big part of their relationship then when they get married and one of them loses some sex drive, the other will want out because the other cant satisfy sexually so they cheat. Whats your opinion?

My opinion cheating is never about sex.

It goes way back think psychology 101—

Nope divorce rate is high because it is more acceptable socially to be divorced than in the past. But even way back in the 1930′s a few did divorce etc. It has been around as long as marriage.

Always has always will and it is just not about sex.

In the olden days people remained married even if the spouse was an adulterer. It was what the majority did-social mores/values of the times
