Question by : A male single parent. Already have two kids.
Will the agency provide me with some background information about the baby? (Ethnicity, birth parents etc)
How long does the process take for intercountry adoptions?
How long does the process take for an adoption in the country?
If there are more things you can tell me, that’ll be great. Also, any useful links will be welcome.

It all depends on the country, some prohibit single parent adoptions. Some have a lot of red tape others don’t.
Focus on the kids you already have.
Babies don’t need to be taken from their mothers. With some support, most relinquishing mothers could raise their kids themselves. Besides, one of the reasons women are coerced into relinquishing their infants is that they can’t possibly provide a good home for a baby while being single. Since you are single, what makes you so special?
And babies in other countries don’t think it’s a treat to be adopted and moved to another country where nothing is familiar and they have to learn a whole different language, customs, culture, etc. If YOU want a baby, YOU should find a woman to love and make one of your own. Leave other people’s kids out of it.
