Is an 18/19 year old still a teenager?

Technically, yes. But it’s a “different” kind of teenager, like a thirteen year old. That barely counts. Nineteen years old barely counts, too, but in a better way.

You guys are wrong. Once you turn 18, you’re legally an adult.

But that doesnt mean they are young, or qualify to the same level as a 13 Year old.

I tend to use the term “young adult”. At least that’s what I liked myself to be classified as when I graduated high school.
EDIT: I was forced to leave home when I was 18. I worked a full time job and went to college. I bought my own car, and I paid my own bills and due to my family situation I was raising my 6 year old brother. I didn’t have custody but he stayed with me a lot and I bought all of his clothing and things he needed for school. I would hardly consider this being a teen although my case is quite different from many teens today. I know a lot of “teens” that are 23 years old still living at home with mom and dad paying all their bills. Well, I can’t imagine what that would be like.

Yeah, technically you are because eighteen and nineteen have the word “teen” on the end, making them still “teenagers”. But they are treated differently to 13-17 year olds because theyre over 18, so technically adults.
The oxford dictionary defines Teenager as “a person aged 13-19″.
