I felt my daughter which is my first child move for the first time at about 19 weeks. And she hasn’t given me a break since then lol.
i was 13weeks when i first feel the baby move
i felt my little boy start moving.. approximately 13 weeks.. or 16 weeks.. not entirely sure but around that.
if you feel unsecure about your baby’s mouvements at anytime make an appointment with your doctor and your sonogropher.
to add aswell, some baby’s aren’t active during the day… some can be real active at night while you sleep
I felt my children really early. My cousin however didnt feel her baby move until she was about 2 months from giving birth. He was fine just not real active.
I felt the quickening at about 19 weeks, and then she really started going about week 21. Now she doesn’t stop and almost every movement can be felt on the outside of my stomach. I’m at 28 weeks.
its normally 4 1/2 , 5month stage
18 weeks – its very hard to distinguish at first tho – for me it felt like, u know when u dip ur fingers in water n wiggle them around a bi? it felt like that! lol. Xx
It is different for every mother. Right now your baby is very small and doesn’t pack much of a punch. Other factors that delay feeling those first flutters are extra weight, a toned tummy, and an anterior placenta (one that’s in front of the baby). 16 weeks is quite early, especially for a first-timer. Your uterus is nice and toned, not having been stretched out before, so it’s harder to feel those kicks. Also, though 20 weeks sounds close, your baby will do a lot of growing in those 4 weeks, getting much bigger and stronger! One last thing that can make it difficult – it doesn’t feel like a kick right away. You may not even notice the movement, or you may think it’s just gas.
Give it a few weeks. You’re not “behind” on feeling movement!
Congrats!
