How many 0000 (newborn) outifts do I need for my baby?

16 March 2010 4 Responses

A Parent asks, I never bought any for the last one and ended up getting a couple after she was born but looking back on photos I believe I put her in 000 too early as she was swimming in them lol. How long do babies stay at the newborn size? My friends baby is 2 months and he is just growing out of his, is that average? My daughter was 4 kilos when she was born, so quite biggish.

my daughter was 8lbs 15oz when she was born and she will be 2 months on the 27th and still fits into newborn things. it depends what kind of outfit it is though. she cant wear footed ones but she can wear sets.
    it depends on your baby.

Baby do grow quickly/fast…buy a dozen or 18pieces of baby clothes (for newborn) that might last for 3 months.18 pieces of diaper, shirts, etc…for mittens and socks, i guess 3 pairs will do

Calais grew out of hers when she was two weeks old. Goog thing I only bought two 0000′s wondersuits to begin with.
She is bigger than averge. SHe has been riding the 97% centile since birth.
I think 2 months would be average :)
