a cow is a large animal therefore the milk is stronger human babies are small so should drink smaller animals milk (if any) that’s why its ok to give them goats milk cos the animal is small and has weaker milk…

The proteins present in cow’s milk are too hard on baby’s kidneys, they could develop an allergy, it may contribute to diabetes later in life and plus most of the milk in the carton’s today is from cow’s that have been fed corn/ soy/ hormones and antibiotics and not grass. So it’s much less healthier than human milk. PLUS breast milk adapts to your baby’s needs as he/she ages. It’s pretty cool.

because i am assuming the baby you are talking about here is a human baby….and it needs human milk, not cow milk

Babies can have cows milk after they turn 1 yr old. Their bodies need the extra nutrients and vitamins found in formula and breast milk. Plus this prevents them from problems if they develop/or have a cow’s milk allergy.

Because they are baby humans and not baby cows. I make milk for my daughter and while she does get soy milk, she has never needed the milk a cow technically made for her calf. Nor have we needed formula as we are both healthy and do not have any illnesses or medicines that hinder breastfeeding.

ETA: Gee, I got a thumbs down. I’m shocked. (Note sarcasm.)

Several reasons. One is that their stomachs are not mature enough to handle the straight milk, but one of the main reasons is that babies NEED the nutrients in breast milk or formula, and if people start substituting cows milk at an early age because of the significant price difference, babies will miss out on a ton of the nutrients they need to grow.
