Aussie mums, is this happening at your kids school?

A Parent asks, Is your Primary school celebrating the AFL’s 150th Birthday?
At our school the kids are all in Footy gear and will be doing maths on Goals and Behinds, doing percentages etc.They will be playing footy for sport as well I heard that many primary schools are doing this to some exstent today. Is yours and what state?

No my children are not celebrating the AFL birthday. We live in QLD. Sounds like fun though hope your kids enjoy doing something different

I am in country Victoria but no, my son’s school is not doing anything that I know of. I’m sure my son would have told me or a note would have come home about it.

im from country vic and nope i didnt hear anything about it ….sounds like fun but
I am in Victoria too and my kids school is going all Olympics mad at the moment. No AFL themes at all.
mi kids skool is and if the skool does it , its most likely to be in victoria because we support it more then any were else
