How many hours sleep are you getting whilst pregnant?

2 March 2010 3 Responses

A Parent asks, I’ve heard that a lot of women find it hard to sleep, just wondering when I might find it hard to sleep.

I am 26 weeks pregnant, I get up to the toilet maybe once/twice a night. But I am getting about 9 hours good sleep a night.

I wake up every two hours every night to go to the bathroom or just because I’m uncomfortable. I’m getting more than 8 hours of sleep a night though, it’s just really tough. (31 weeks pregnant)

“sleep”? I’m sorry, I’m not familiar with Greek mythology…

Anyway in all seriousness, I hadn’t struggled until around 34 weeks. Now I get up several times a night, struggle with back pain and cramps, and have heaps of trouble getting comfortable. So, collectively around 4 hours if I’m lucky.

    I wish you more luck!
