How to increase chances of getting pregnant?

7 March 2010 4 Responses

A Parent asks, I really want to get pregnant and I really want to know what I can take or what not to take when I am coming up to my ovulation date. I have worked it out that I should be ovulating around about the 20th Dec. So does anyone know what I can and cannot do, to increase my chances of getting pregnant. Oh and what I can and cannot take.

Evening primrose oil helps increase your fertile mucus but should only be taken until ovulation, not after.

Vitex (agnus castus) is a herbal fertility enhancing supplement!

Folic acid is recommended to prevent the baby developing neural tube defects.

Also, eat a protein rich diet and drink plenty of water.

    Avoid smoking and alcohol.

    Hope this helps!
