Why do you think a woman at times radiates such beauty during her pregnancy?

A Parent asks, There is something so amazingly beautiful about a woman in certain stages of her pregnancy. Why do women seem to glow with such an intoxicating beauty?

You must be a proud Daddy to think so
1. Because she is beyond happy.
2. Because of the sebum that makes the skin glow. Hormones activity increase the seborrhea, thus making the skin look shiny.
3. A preg woman takes more care of herself.
Well books say there is an actual glow in appearance from the hormonal changes, vitamins, and the body holding in more nutrients. I personally think its just the overwhelming miracle that a life is inside of me. I get very ill with morning sickness the whole entire pregnancy, yet still people are drawn to me like crazy. Its really strange, more men pay attention (even before I’m showing), and women even respond differently. So I think there is also something spiritually that happens that other people can see or feel attracted to.
Because they are extreamely happy (most anyway) and most are also eating much better than they normally do. The combination of both, plus the hormones making their hair, skin and nails better at some points, makes a woman look more beautiful.
All the extra blood pumping through your system
its all the hormones and glands producing more oil giving her the ‘glow’, lol!!
Because the life force is intensified and “creation” has happened and is happening…this is as close to Source as we humans can experience…Its wonder and depth and sacredness. The incredible glow surely is the “light” penetrating her being. And, she is doubly connected to the flow of Love as it courses through herself and through the fetus, which has not yet left the Absolute Field. We are all drawn to this mystery, and want to touch the mother’s belly, to touch Life. i am glowing just imagining this miracle in my mind’s eye…i see an endless line of light-filled mothers-to-be, baby-bearing bellies held proudly in the matrix of motherhood…the anticipation of birth and the access to the concomitant innocence and purity of spirit piques our interest. We are deeply touched to witness this process, for it speaks of our own birth and our connection to both spirit and matter…a reminder of who we are and where we come from, for we, too, are miracles contained in the Web of Life. Love is the undergirdment of this phenomenon, and we sense Its perfect presence.

After about three months, there are two souls in one body…three if it’s twins.
It’s why artists, particularly of the renaissance period, always painted pregnant women (around four or five months), because they wanted to capture this radiance. It is an expression of renewal and the miracle of life and creation. Sandro Botticellis Venus and La Primavera are wonderful examples aren’t they.
Because the presence of God is shining through in a new born child.
