Question by Dona G: I am wondering how long after i lost my mucus plug should i be going into labor.
I was woundering how much longer till labour start, I have been having lower back pains and some tightening of my belly especially at night around 10-11pm it feels like someone is grabbing my skin and stretching it while twisting it at the same time.

it could be any time.. between now and another couple of days really… You are not going into labour just because you lost your mucus plug..

i would keep an eye out for lower back pain and tightness across your belly… sometimes lower back pain may be the only lead up to full on labour…

Congrats you are SO Close now!! whoo hoo!!

U can go in labor any minute now because you are over due. If u would have lost it earlier it would have been 1-2 weeks later…

YYAAYY!! Congradulations :) All stages of labor lasts different amounts of time for different women. The only way to really tell yourself is by the contractions. I’m sure you’ve heard when your contractions are 5 minutes or less apart then go to the hospital. Once you get there, the dr and nurses will tell you how dilated you are and then things will start moving! Good luck!!

As a man I’d love to help and advise you, but I have no idea what mucus plug is. I am the father of 5 children and I must confess I’ve never heard that term.
But I would advise you to your GYN and get checked ASAP.
