Q&A: Some of my mucus plug came out so what should i expect now?

Question by Ms LI LI: Im 38weeks pregnant, im big as a house lol, i walk up an down my stairs practically every day, last night my mucus plug came out an all thru the night i was having light contractions, but here i am now no contractions or any thing this pregnancy is playing games with me.SOMEONE PLEEZZZ TELL ME SOMETHING. LOL

Just wait and see. That’s all you can do. Or eat spicy food and have sex and hope that will kick start labour.

Don’t get your hopes up. After losing your mucus plug you could go into labor anywhere from 24 hours to 4 weeks (like me). Your baby is still protected because he/she is in the bag of waters. But, losing your plug doesn’t guarantee that labor will come soon.
you should expect to start having contractions (maybe mild menstrual like cramps) to start out with in the next several hours…..I would go get checked to see if you’ve dialted any, and the doctor will tell you what to do from there….also, having sex will bring everything on faster…..keep walking too….that helps
