go to the hospital and rent a “hospital-grade pump” from the lactation department, if you’re looking for the best pump.

Call first and schedule an appointment with the lactation consultant. Remember that the BEST way to rebuild supply is to let your baby suckle, at least every two hours and for you to rest and eat very healthy.

You would get the hospital grade from the hospital.

If your local hospital does not rent them or you cannot afford the price from medela.com, I suggest you look into the medela pump in style or the lanisoh pump which is about $150 less but gets 5 stars just like the medela pump.

i am having the same problem, i have a medela pump in style and it is a very good pump. my doctor told me that it is very hard to get your milk supply back and to just keep pumping. Also i have been drinking a tea called “mother’s milk” you can find it at most any health food store, and it seems to be making a difference. Best of luck.

Do you have health insurance? If so, you need to talk to your child’s physician and get a medical statement. A lot of insurance companies will cover the rental cost if it’s medically necessary.

Try looking in the yellow pages. Also, call local medical supply stores. My rental was only $40.00 a month.

If you have low milk supply try an herbal galactogogue. Breastea has worked wonders for my breastmilk supply.
