5 July 2010 2 Responses

Question by katherine: I have just finished breastfeeding my daughter (haven’t fed her for two days) and was wondering how long it takes for your milk supply to dry up, I had her down to feeding once a day for the last couple of weeks before I took the last one away a couple of days ago.
Also I wanting no how long after feeding should you wait before getting fitted for normal bra’s again and when is it safe to wear underwire?
Thanks taking the time to answer.

because breast milk is created by hormones, it may take up to a year or longer for the milk to “dry up”. see your gyn if you have a medical concern.
