Question by Telle: I would like to express milk into a bottle so my baby’s dad can share the experience of feeding her, but she will not accept it even thou it is my milk i have just expressed! I have tried different teats n am not really sure where to go from here. She is 10 weeks old.

I use playtex vent flo wide nipples. It’s the most like the breast. Maybe that’ll work. Good Luck!
Babies have a great sense of smell and she can smell you if you are in the house. Try having someone else, like dad, give her the bottle while you are outside. If that doesn’t work, try having dad where a shirt you recently wore so it smells like you and have him hold your baby in the same position you usually breast feed her. My daughter kept protesting then one day I guess she decided I wouldn’t stop trying and she gave in. Now she can switch back and forth easily. Don’t give up.
