What can cause a missed period when the test is negative?

A Parent asks, I have been having really bad cramps, and i didn’t get my period this month. I have almost every other symptom too. But, when I took a pregnancy test it was negative, even after waiting a few days after i missed my period.

you may be takign the test too early. you have to give it time if you truly believe you are.and sometimes home pregnancy tests arent accurate. go to the doctor.

Wait until you are a week late and take another test. If it’s still negative you’ll have to see a doctor to find out why you are late.

I had missed peroids last year and wasn’t pregnant and found out it was a fibroid. You should call your doctor and have an exam.

wait a week, if no period still, test again! dont keep stressin about it, because your period wont come if you stress out too much! i had to take 3 tests (1 a week) before i got a positive result! everyone else knew i was prego, but i didnt think so. best of luck!!
