My period is two days late and I toke a test today and it came back negative?

A Parent asks, We’ve been trying for four months and last period was on the 5 july and before that my last period was only two weeks before that… Could I still be pregnant now?

    Have your doc run a blood test. It may be too early to tell with an over the counter urine test.

    well my period is 5 days late so i’m gonna wait at least 2 weeks after to make sure that the hcg count is high enough to tell if there is a baby there. I think you should at least wait a week, so that you won’t get a false negative.Good Luck.
