Going to start taking provera to help me start my period. To get pregnant should I also take clomid ?

A Parent asks, Not had a period since june, so that means I am not ovualating, so when i take the provera I should start my period should I go ahead and take clomid with it?

That should be between you and your doc….but, I have heard that clomid is nasty stuff and should be avoided unless it is really necessary…
THAT IS UP TO YOU AND YOUR DOCTOR. CLOMID IS REALLY NOT ALL THAT BAD, ITS WHEN YOU START USING THE INJECTABLE MEDS. BUT, IF IT ISNT FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME AND YOU REALLY WANT TO HAVE A BABY ITS WORTH IT. I FINALLY DID INVITRO AND GLAD I DID.
yes go for it…if you have been ttc for while yes i highly recomend you do …but google clomid so you understand the side effects if you happen to ecperience them ..good luck
Yes, since clomid is used for ovulation induction. You might also try taking Glucophage/Metformin along with the clomid.
