Can you experience PMT symptoms yet be pregnant?

A Parent asks, My husband & I tried to conceive last week during my ovulation week and now a week later I’m starting all my usual PMT symptoms. Getting slightly irritable and craving chocolate. Can you still experience PMT symptioms but still be pregnant? Obviously, I have another week to wait to see if my period arrives, but I’d love to know now!

Yes it is normal to have PMS symptoms after ovulation and possible conception. Some women even have their periods while pregnant. They are usually very light and spotty.
In the next few days to a week if you are spotting or bleeding lightly it could very well be implantation bleeding. This is where the ovum burrows itself into your uterus to grow.
Its a 50-50 chance you could be pregnant though. Fingers crossed for ya!
i dont know if they are exactly identical to “PMS” symptoms..but pregnancy symptoms can be very similar. when i first thought i was prego…i was like” no way possible…cuz i’m gettin cramps and i feel like i’m gunna get my period any min.”…turns out those cramps are called implantation cramps.lol..i’m 9 months now. there are other common symptoms…cravings and such. but like u said…i would wait and see what happens with ur period.and remember…some women still get their period while they are prego.best bet of all…after all that..speak to ur doc. good luck with everythin. hope i helped.
bYes I would say that PMT symptoms and pregnancy symptoms are almost the same.Breast sorrenes, mild cramping(of the enlarging uterus) and could be even lower back pain. Before I have had my kids my PMT symptoms such as breast tenderrnes was more intense then when I actually was pregnant. Now I do not have any PMT symptoms because they simply vanished after I have had my kids.Probably because my body changed after them.
