do you get the same symptoms for premature labour as full term labour, I am currently 25 weeks pregnant?

A Parent asks, and had to go doctors today as i thought i lost my mucus plug, but my cervix is still closed, but i have started to efface. The doctor just told me to go home and take it easy and look out for contractions
I am just concerned as I can’t even have my baby where i live i would have to travel 2 1/2 hours to the nearest hospital that delivers babies, but they don’t have a neonatal unit a hospital with one of those is 6 hrs away

Yes they are. I was 80% effaced at 26 weeks with this one and have been on pretty much bed rest since. I highly suggest following your docs advice. You’ve got a long way to go.
Take it easy and watch out for contractions or new back pain. Try not to stress out, you can lose your mucus plug early (can happen for many reasons most commonly from having sex) and your body can make a new one.
Preterm labor symtoms are sometimes different. If anything unsual is happening, call the nurses line at the hospital and they can help you decide if you’re having preterm labor or not. http://pregnancy.about.com/od/pretermlabor/a/pretermlabor.htm
I think you need to try and stop worrying.
