Why when in labor some womens water breaks on its own and for others it requires the doctor to break it?

Sometimes that’s just what happens, other times the doctor needs to break the water to get the labor started (I was diagnosed with preeclampsia and my doc had to break my water so I would go into labor.)
Normally your body will naturally do it on it’s own. Sometimes doctors might have to do it for instance if you go past your due date.
They say taking plenty of vitamin E will strengthen the water bag so it won’t break prematurely.
The amniotic sack never “requires” to be broken. Some doctors do it just to speed up the labor. If left alone the waters would either break on their own at some point or the baby would be born “in the caull.” Both are safe and natural.
Doctors are not required to break it, they just do it to speed up the process. I am not a doctor and I know a lot of people are going to go against this answer, but the body knows what it’s doing and the baby will come when it needs to. All these things doctors do are just unnatural… breaking the water, inducing, pain killers, and the worst one c-sections. None of these are necessary, babies can be delivered breech if you go to someone who knows how to do it… and if it is absolutely impossible to deliver breech, they can be turned… anyway… as you can see I am opposed to all these unnatural things doctors do. Unfortunately I went through the c-section part… now I know better and will do my best to do it all natural next time.
it has to do with the mucus plug, some womens mucas plugs are thicker than others and it doesnt wear out fast enough, my mucus plug wore and wore and believe it or not when i went into labor that was the first thing to go!
