The doctor says to give yourself at least 6 weeks to heal.
Yes, it is possible to get pregnant right away.

i’d say wait at least 6 weeks, but it depends on how fast your body heals and when you stop bleeding. I had a 9lb 13 oz baby so it took awhile to even feel confortable enough to have sex lol
your doc says 4 to 6 weeks,but it mostly depends on how u feel, if u had stiches,its best to wait 6 weeks, i had my baby 2 months ago and its still a bit uncomfortable, but you can try and if it hurts just stopif it feels fine than go ahead, and yes u can get pregnant again becuase you are very fertile after having a baby so be very careful!

Yes it is possible to fall pregnant straight away, a woman usually has her period about 40 days after giving birth so this means at some stage during that 40 day time slot the woman will ovulate and you are at your most fertile just after giving birth……dont believe the old wives tale about not getting pregnant while breastfeeding, I know plenty of women who have gotten pregnant while breastfeeding! You should usually wait around 6 weeks after giving birth to have sex again.

In Australia you don’t have to wait 6 weeks- although i did. They just tell you that you can resume sex when you feel ready. Especially if you have an uncomplicated vaginal delivery- if you feel ready go for it. And yes you can get pregnant straight away especially if you aren’t breastfeeding or on birth control.
