A Parent asks, Yes, I was fingered, and i’m six weeks to 8 weeks along, i feel no pain, just bleeding, and found a blood clot, I hope it’s not a miscarriage. I’m nervous…

Being fingered or having sex CANNOT cause a miscarriage! If you are miscarrying it is nothing that you did or did not do! At that stage the baby is very well protected in there. Just because you have bleeding does not mean that you will miscarry…..Here is my experience, I hope that it helps! I spotted at 5weeks, then 3 times more…. The last time was 16 weeks and it was a good proper bleed!! Each time I flipped out! I had no cramping or pain, my cervix was closed… All of my blood levels normal and each time baby was ok with heartbeat. The ER docs tried to figure it out to no avail… My OB did all kinds of tests and ultrasounds only to come up with the conclusion that all was well. She explained it just may be “sloughing” or, nothing at all. Unless you have painful cramps, heavy bleeding (enough to fill a pad in an hour), bleeding with blood clots or bleeding with a fever, I would try not to worry. Some women just spot during early pregnancy! If you have any of the above symptoms go to the ER immediately! I know it’s hard but any time I stressed about it, it just got worse! The only thing my OB told me not to do was have sex until 12 weeks. After that when I bled at 16 weeks, I was told not to have sex for 3 weeks. Other then that, just try to take it easy!
    Very Best Wishes!

I hope its not a miscarriage. I dont think fingering could cause a miscarriage though. Call your doctor tomorrow they will be able to check it out and see if your baby is ok or not. Good luck!

If you have any bleeding during pregnancy you need to go to the ER. for that matter, if you have ANY problems that you are concerned about you need to go to the hospital.

I hope not too. Just for the sake of it you should see the Dr. There are many other reasons that you could be bleeding this early on so cross your fingers and I will pray for you.. Good luck And god bless

well if you were pregnant and had a clot it would be large about the size of a half dollar …but you can’t get pregnant from being fingered….sounds like you need to talk to your mom

It is not uncommon to have a period at 8 weeks (your body isn’t quite accepting that it is pregnant). There is nothing a doctor can do, and an ultrasound can cause a miscarriage at this early stage, So just rest as much as possible and then do anther pregnancy test in a few weeks.
