At what day past ovulation would you expect implantation bleeding?

A Parent asks, I had some spotting at 8DPO but my period came and thus no pregnancy – could I have concieved and miscarried very early? I know not many women have implantation bleeding – but for those who do when did it appear?
Oh forgot to mention I have very regular cycles and this is the first time I have ever had noticeable spotting before my period was due.

It’s estimated that 30 to 50% of all fertilizations lead to very early miscarriages, so that could be the case. I don’t know anything about bleeding when it happens, but implanation of a fertilized egg will take place around 2 – 3 days after conception.
