A Parent asks, I had unproected sex on the 29th, took the morning after pill on the 30th, it is now the 5th and I have just experienced very heavy bleeding and cramping. The bleeding is not as heavy now, but I am still cramping. Could I be pregnant or is this the effect of the pill?

I would say it is the effects of the pill.
Its the pill. You ingested a massive dose of hormones, its bound to mess you up a little!
I would say it’s the pill doing its job. You were probably pregnant and now your body is disposing of your baby.
it is possible that you could had gotten pregnant on the 29th and when you took the pill on the 30th it is causing you to terminate the pregnancy so yea in laments terms it is side affects if it doesn’t stop by the 7th go to your doctors 3 to 4 days is the average of side affects AND if you know for sure it is NOT your cycle so lay back put your feet up and if it worsens go to your doctor (ob gyn) if you need someone you can email me at giggles47532000@yahoo.com everything is ok from what i can tell my friends have used it and it is normal so don’t stress unless it gets worse chat later if need be take care
my guess is the pill
Hi there dear. I was reading the replies that you received and I just wanted to say that you are not “disposing of your baby”. That was a deliberate attempt to make you feel guilty.
The “Morning After” pill works in two different ways. It can stop eggs from being released and it can stop a fertilized egg from being able to implant into the uterine wall. Neither one of these things has anything to do with killing a baby. It may arguably stop a potential pregnancy but it does not kill a baby and to try to make you feel that it does is just wrong.
You should, by now, be at the end of the process and should start feeling better. I would say that if within another 24 hours you are not feeling substantially better you should call the facility or the doctors office where you were cared for and let them know what is going on. You may need to be seen again.
Take good care of yourself and try to get plenty of rest.
Love and Blessings

IT IS THE PILL…. I had to take the morning after pill once and had the same thing.
for all the people saying the MORNING AFTER PILL is abortion or killing the baby it really isnt…..
It kills off sperm, 1 day is not long enough to actually have a live formed baby…
