My 5 month old only eats 1-2 ounces and then stops. Any ideas on how to get him to eat more?

A Parent asks, He will either stop and play with the nipple or in some cases will scream bloody murder. He is bottle-fed with pumped breastmilk and 2 formula bottles a day. He was eating more but he has slowed down. He then gets hungry an hour or two later so I’m constantly feeding him. He is on Prevacid for reflux as well and was 2+ months premature. Any ideas on how to get him to eat more or is it okay that he is only getting this amount?

He’s ok!! My son would eat 8-10 ounces every 5 or so hours. My daughter was/is a nibbler. She would eat a little at a time but she ate every 1-2 hours. Just depends on them and how they feel like eating at that particular moment. Good luck!
